i think its just making alot of weapons until you get what you want. either that or just having different kind of weapons and use other weapon when you are out of ammo

each weapon you craft can be different , I mean it can have different stats. So you might craft until you have the stats you want

I was lucky when i fist crafted my weapon... 1 try and got crit heal, stable and crit hit. Rolled 35 or so vectors and never got a good one. So I said F it and then used a purple weapon.

so it's just crafting weapons?

nah i think it is rerolling stats on a weapon, should be the same as in dia3 ( but i dunno :p )

That RNG man, my first vector was litterally the lowest DPS roll you could get with eh perks my second roll was 2 dps from max with amazing perks. Took my one friend 17 rolls to get a decent vector.

All weapons and gear have a stat range they can fall into as well as randomized abilities. When you craft a piece of gear you get a random 'Roll'. If you don't like it, sell or deconstruct it and try again. This costs crafting materials.

rolling is repeatably crafting the same item over and over again in the hopes of getting better stats and perks. Re-Rolling is using the in game 'recaliberate' which allows you to re-roll only 1 stat line on an item and not perks.

Any time a process results in the creation of a randomized set of stats and abilities within a given possible range of outcomes it is generally referred to as 'rolling'. It is universal across multiple games. Sometimes you will hear people say they are 'rolling a new toon' which means creating a new character for the game (not on this one).

It references rolling dice, since the process relies on random chance within a set of parameters.

Like they said rolling a weapon is just crafting in this game. When dealing with rpgs rolling refers to the "rolling the dice" part of the rng. It's typically used to for anything that requires you to roll the dice to get something, weapons, starting characters, etc.

1. go BOO
2. Go up stairs to the reroll thing on the left just before the FC vendor
3. pick item to reroll
4. pick stat from the available ones on item, hint :you see what can go in that slot when you reroll on the far right.
5. hold down the reroll button and then on the right again you see what stats you can select from, once you choose the new stat it replaces the one you had before.

This can cost $$ or for HE will cost FC. Process is not reversible, and cost goes up, however if you want to reroll lots you can keep going on that stat till you get what you want on the item.
